Cove Club Restaurant space

The Cove Club restaurant space has been vacant for a while. They filmed an episode of Law and Order there a few weeks ago. What type of restuarant would you like to see go in that space? It would be nice to have a good quality Italian restaurant there.

Cove Space

We seem to have chinese, japanese, diner, pizza and italian sandwiches covered on south end, but we do not have a spot to stroll for a cup of coffee or exotic tea. I agree, A cozy place to sit and read for an hour would be welcome.  In the evening, a lite fare menu with wine/ drinks, accompanied by mouth watering dessert, maybe even poetry/ readings / live music once in a while in the establishment would be really cool.

The south end could benefit tremendously from a fantastic coffee shop. We need a place to hang out, read the Broadsheet or logon to bpclife.com. Whether it's in the Cove (probably too large a space) or somewhere else, this would be a welcome addition to the neighborhood. As far as restaurants go, we need a place that's either fine dining or a place that serves hip, cool (and affordable) simple food with wine/spirits. I'm a new resident to BPC and proud to be so. I love the efforts to create community. Now if I could get the residents in my building to say hello to each in the hallways, I would be winning!
