Battery Park City Life

I've been looking for ways to declutter my life.  I have too many books and papers, which is overwhelming my 1 bedroom apartment.  And when it is time to move, it will be a pain to move all those books. 

That's why I am excited about the new Amazon Kindle 2.  Imagine the space that I will save by having all my books in this one device.   It can hold over 1500 books and thinner than the iPhone.  You can download books without using a computer (uses Amazon's Whispernet, which is on the Sprint Network, with no monthly bill).  It also has a text-to-speech feature so that it will read the book, magazine, newspaper out loud.   With over 230,000 books available, plus US and international newspapers and magazines, I'm sure that it will keep me busy.  The Kindle 2 is shipping on February 24.
